The best fried shrimp in St. Augustine! Great drinks and service. Patio seating at the right time of years makes for an excellent evening out with your SO or a group. Another great entree is the fish.

We had a great dinner last night. Sat outside and service was quick and responsive. We started with the Cajun egg rolls and Caesar salad. I had the catch of the day (grouper) on risotto and my husband had the chicken. Can't seem to pull up the menu online for the exact dish but both were excellent. We are pretty picky restaurant goers as we can cook most foods at home better than restaurants. Gave it 5 stars.

When visiting St. Augustine why not go where so many locals go? Enjoy great local seafood and more including beach food right down to hot dogs! It's a surf bar and restaurant with a great surfing theme. Drinks are always a great value here & the food is so Good! The herb crusted fish with asparagus over a mashed potatoes dish was delicious! I'd highly recommend this St. Augustine Beach restaurant.

Came here with my boyfriend and our two friends tonight. It was pretty full but there was no wait, which is always nice. Extremely slow and unprofessional service... It's always a little annoying when the table next to you, which was seated after you, is served first. And I'm not talking a few minutes either. By the time our food arrived, they were finishing dessert. Strange, since two of us ordered burgers and the others ordered the same pasta dish. It would have been nice if our waitress was anywhere to be found during our hour wait for our food. My boyfriend liked his burger (sting ray) but the pasta dish I ordered (point break something or other) was mediocre at best. Bland sauce and the shrimp was dry. The sun dried tomatoes were mush. Nothing special for me...but maybe there are other, more flavorful dishes on the menu. I'll pass.... Our waitress didn't even offer us dessert or thank us, and we weren't about to wait for her to. I wouldn't go back, the whole experience was pretty underwhelming. Ps- The decor is tacky. I can see how this would appeal to tourists who don't know any better.

Wings were excellent with a unique sauce. Pasta was fresh and not mushy. Enjoyed the seafood. Restaurant is bright and clean. Service ease excellent.

Not a good experience. Service was slow and too many mistakes were made. Food sent sent back from surrounding tables too. Had the burger which wasn't home made which for the price it should not be the frozen variety. Ribs disappointing too.

Went here with my parents and husband and found the restaurant mainly empty. This had me worried because I hadn't been there in the years since the place was a Barnacle Bill's. The host was downright rude, but our server was friendly and capable. Things were looking up. Decor was lovely. I highly recommend the unique tuna appetizer and the scallops. The fried shrimp were good, but not as good as I remember them being when the place was Barnacle Bill's. Still, I would recommend this quiet little place on the beach.

If there was an option to leave zero stars that would of been my rating. I never have left a negative review before but the food was so terrible and the manager so rude I felt I had to speak out. The waitressdid not bring us our appetizer (o.k. mistakes happen). When my steak arrived ( ordered medium rare and cooked more medium well) ,it was so gristly and fatty and so obviously "old" that I quite simply could not eat it. After politely mentioning that it was inedible, I was told I would be charged half. Really? I was told that the appetizer ( which we did not receive) was taken off the check; I should hope so! The manager told me never to order prime rib/steak again and when I told him I would never return he said " can I have that in writting"! As an after thought, the broccoli was old and limp ( my daughter thought it was asparagus), and the rosemary potatoes ( the only thing I was able to eat) were cold and stale. Obviously there was a reason why every place on the beach was on a wait and this place was two thirds empty!

Food is good and staff is super nice, prices are not my favorite...but it's a beach restaurant. Good stuff.

The pizza is a must try. Chef and manager husband wife team are confident foodies who aren't afraid to spark the palate in interesting specials.

The BBQ jerk ribs were fantastic and the chocolate three ways desert was also great. Best service that I got anywhere in the area on my visit. The atmosphere is also very nice, it looks pretty new.

Great food experience and atmosphere! Love the beachy yet casual/classy feel. Just had a bunch of apps this time, can't wait to try more. Get the short rib sliders and you won't be disappointed! Kudos to Chris for bringing Chef Brian to the beach...I will follow you wherever you are cooking!

Great location, new name and classy menu. Formerly the Barnacle Bill's, this new restaurant offers a variety of items, a great happy hours, amazing margaritas and an outside terrace not filled with the motorcycle crowd. Parking is a bit tight, if you can walk, and stumble home.

Limited menu, worst service, food mediocre at best. So disappointed, will never go there again and would certainly not recommend.

My family has been visiting this restaurant for about 8 years while vacationing. Our last visit was another wonderful experience. Our server was attentive and intuitive. The Tuesday shrimp and fish tacos were delicious and a steal for only $5. The $5 margaritas weren't too shabby either.

We were invited by localers who go every Tuesday for live music and fish tacos. It was excellent: the music (with a Cuban flare), the service and the tacos (fish, shrimp and oyster: all fresh). What a great evening. We'll be back. BTW, the margaritas were fresh and excellent too.

If I was to rate this restaurant on the food alone, I would have given it 6 stars. Unfortunately the night I went they were having an off night. Appetizers came out late. They couldn't serve wine cause they had run out of wine glasses, both bathrooms were out of order (had to go to the restaurant next door) but the food was so amazing that after leaving I want as upset as I would have been. Though they did give us a free app and the manager made it a point to visit our table several times, I feel they could have been a little more generous when it came to the bill.

The food was amazing! My sister and brother-in-law go there all the time and took us a few weeks ago. They said the food was good, but that was an understatement! Everything we had was seriously 5 star, and we eat out at expensive restaurants often. You wouldn't expect such good food because it's very casual and laid back and just seems like they would have bar food. The bartender creates the bar menu and we all had different drinks that were equally tasty. The coquina fries were to die for! My husband and I had crab and a burger with bleu cheese on it and OH MY! I don't even like burgers much. This was delicious! It was our last night in Saint Augustine or I would have gone back over and over. I want to taste everything else on the menu!

Went with my girlfriend back at the end of January during a rather cold evening. Atmosphere would appeal to tourists such as myself. A surf documentary played on a rather large tv in the dining area. A cool vibe compared to sportscenter. Cool stone work and sharks and the like hanging from the ceiling. You know you're at the beach. We were seated quickly and had the Cuban egg rolls and mussels to start. Waitress gave us the happy hour special with 5 minutes to go which was a sweet gesture. Both apps weren't overly impressive, but good enough to make us excited for the main course. I had the Delmonico. Absolutely one of the best steaks I've had out in years. Great cut of meat cooked exactly how I like it with a blue cheese cream sauce drowning the top. My girlfriend had the point break pasta which she was pretty pleased with. Overall, beer and wine list aren't going to blow you away, but the food alone will warrant a second trip when we return this Spring. I'll probably get the same thing!

Great setting, great service, and wonderful seafood. Walking distance to the beach. Plenty of free parking. I give it a 5 star rating!

Food was good. Service was terrible. Hostess seated us and no one would wait on us. We finally flagged someone down and were appreciative that someone finally acknowledged us. He took our order and delivered first round of drinks. Didn't show up again until happy hour was over. When he did finally show up, we asked if we could get happy hour prices and he said no. We finally received our food approx an hour later. 2 appetizers and one hamburger. Finally had to ask a different waitress to take our bill. Not sure I will ever go back. Seemed to have plenty of waitstaff but horribly unorganized. The table Next to us had a similar experience. The worst part of the experience was that they were not even busy when we first arrived, so you can't even attribute it to that.

It was so hard to pick an entree from this menu! Everything looked delicious. I settled on the risotto which did not disappoint. The atmosphere and the staff were extremely nice. They were out of quite a bit but I can't complain considering we were amongst the last parties in the place. We'll definitely be back.

Had an awesome dinner at Coquina for my friend's rehearsal dinner. Although when we arrived the set-up wasn't ideal, the staff was very accommodating and switched out tables around so we were more comfortable. I had the Halibut with risotto which was delicious. And the chowder was amazing... That's a must order! Drinks were very good and very strong--which is good! Deliciously powerful. Drink moderately folks!

Had snapper with rosotto, and snapper blackened with cheesy grits. Two cosmos to start. Food was sensational. Fish was perfect and had excellent complimentary tastes. Atmosphere very relaxing, clean, and nice. Our waitress, kitty, was new and did a great job with our gluten free diets. Manager checked in and suggested not getting grouper as it was the last piece. Great service. Best blackened fish I've ever had. Will go back, highly recommended. The outside sign does not convey how good the food is, FYI.

BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD!!! That being said the fries were cold and my wife's chicken Caesar salad seemed small for the price. But the relaxed atmosphere and good service made this a great place to come for dinner.

Great restaurant and ambiance. Very cool decor and food is amazing for a beach restaurant. St. augustine is loaded with restaurant options but this is always my favorite. Same owner as Barnacle Bill's, a staple in town Highly recommend

Another great meal here. We bought a vacation home near here right around the time they opened and have never been disappointed. Food quality is great. Staff is friendly and laid back. Great mix of quality food and relaxed beach life and good atmosphere.

Delicious, fresh food with friendly service and a great atmosphere! Everyone loved their meal- from the crab cakes, to a burger and ceviche. In fact, my boyfriend said the burger was the best he's ever had- strong words from an avid beef fan!

We just finished a horrible dining experience here. My wife and I were greeted by our waiter and placed our order for the BBQ Jerk Ribs. (which were fabulous) However, this was the last time we saw our waiter until he brought us our check. Another lady brought our food out and refilled our drinks while she was there. All the while, OUR WAITER simply ignored us. I know we will never eat here again and recommend you avoid it as well.
